Pass – AVPD

Copenhagen, 2014

AVPD has created the spatial installation Pass that comprises translucent curtains made from Zulu. The installation was part of the exhibition Beyond Reach at Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art in Copenhagen.

The experience of Pass is immersive and challenging. The transparent curtains are suspended from hanging rails, creating delicate ‘corridors’ and ‘walls’. Pass addresses the relationship between art and architecture by taking the spectators on a sensory journey, which explores the sense of ‘something out of reach’.
